Gabriel Hugues belongs to the fourth generation of wine growers. Together with his wife Patricia, he grows the wines of Château Floris in a traditional way.

His two proud daughters, Alicia and Sélène, inherit the love for the profession and are ready to redeem a next generation of wines from Château Floris.

The vines are planted on a 10-hectare site on the typical clay and calcareous soils of the region. After a strict selection of the grapes in summer, they are picked towards the end of autumn. The grape is perfect after mid-October.

After an initial sorting, the grapes are pneumatically pressed. The juice is clarified at a low temperature between 2 and 6 degrees in tanks. The clear grape juice is then placed in a stainless steel tub without malolactic fermentation. Six months after the picking, the wine is bottled to obtain the AOC-certificate.

Two years after the harvest, the wine is ready for sale.
